99% South African
The path a cotton fibre takes from its harvest to your Love Jozi tee is long and complex. In short =96 the cotton itself could be reaped in South Africa, Israel, Turkey or India (we can't tell exactly where it's from, but these are some of the world's largest exporters). South Africa alone doesn't have enough cotton to support to the entire national textile industry. That's where the mysterious 1% comes in.

But following that, the process is completely local. The ginning, combing and milling happens in Free State, Northern Province and Gauteng. The t-shirts are designed in Johannesburg, manufactured in Northern Province and silk-screened in Gauteng.

So there's nothing fake about our t-shirts. The WaistBand style is made from 100% combed cotton and contains no synthetic fibres (and no children were exploited or harmed during the production process). The TwistSeam t-shirts are made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% lycra, complementing the great fit.

There's a tiny chance that the cotton used in this t-shirt didn't originate from SA soil. Read more.
